Region C Water Planning Group
Purpose:
The Region C Water Planning Group develops and implements the regional water plan, which acts as a “bottom-up” approach to planning for the state’s future water needs. The regional water plan is incorporated into the State Water Plan under the purview of the Texas Water Development Board.
Description:
This site houses the 2016 Region C Water Plan and past iterations of the document. The Region C Water Plan addresses: Population and water demand projections; Water management strategies; Wholesale water providers and water user groups recommendations; Water conservation and reuse recommendations; and impacts of the regional water plan.
