Climate Literacy and Energy Awareness Network (CLEAN)- Debating the Grid Curriculum

Purpose: 
This curriculum is to educate high school students on how the energy grid works and factors that impact its efficiency.
Description: 
This curriculum from CLEAN is for high school students and is geared towards AP Environmental and Earth Science classes. The Debating the Grid program spans 10 days and allows students an in-depth look at the energy grid's function in providing electricity. Students will have the opportunity to consider and debate the effectiveness of migrating to a "smart grid" system.
