Advancing Campus Sustainability: Initiatives, Efficiency, and Funding Workshop

This workshop provided the opportunity for attendees to hear about how universities in the region are engaging in the realm of sustainability and moving energy efficiency forward. The workshop kicked off with a panel showcasing sustainability initiatives at universities from across the North Central Texas region. Speakers then dove into the topic of recommissioning university buildings with the second panel, sharing real world examples from the North Central Texas region. Information on how to seek funding for projects was also highlighted. Finally, speakers from NCTCOG and SPEER shared about the work they are doing in these areas, as well as the resources available to assist universities.
