TWDB Water Conservation Plan

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) provides resources for the development of a Water Conservation Plan. The plan is intended to outline strategies for reducing consumption and waste of water as well as increasing water efficiency, recycling, and reuse. A Water Conservation Plan is required for entities seeking to receive significant financial assistance from TWDB, for large retail public utility water providers, and for entities with surface water rights under certain conditions. Entities required to submit a water conservation plan to TCEQ should also consider submitting it to TWDB.
