Purpose:

The Texas Water DFund provides financial assistance for water supply, wastewater, and flood control projects.

Description:

The Texas Water DFund provides financial assistance to water supply, wastewater, and flood control projects including treatment plants, reservoirs and tanks, nonpoint source pollution abatement, acquisition of floodplain land, and development of flood management plans. All political subdivisions of the state and nonprofit water supply corporations are eligible for loans.
