Watt Watchers of Texas

Watt Watchers of Texas offers lessons and activities in alignment with Texas education standards. The program encourages students to be mindful to energy use and to think intentionally about reducing energy waste. Activities are divided into 6 themes: Electricity, Water, Recycling, Cooling and Heating, Transportation, and Food. These activities can be used in classrooms grades K-12 and the program offers an at-home component additionally. Watt Watchers of Texas is administered by the University of Texas at Austin, distributed by Disco Learning, media and sponsored by the Texas State Energy Conservation Office.
