Purpose:
This mapper shows how concentrations of pesticides, nutrients, metals, and organic contaminants in groundwater are changing during decadal periods across the Nation.
Description:
Nearly half of the US population relies on groundwater supply and monitoring changes in quality makes sure that water stays at a healthy level for years. This map provides visual information about changes in Urban Land Use, Domestic Supply Well, and Agricultural Land Use Networks. It is also the first national map reporting this type of data.
