Purpose:
To provide greater education on the potential for Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) and Aquifer Recharge (AR)
Description:
Texas Water Development Board has created this interactive Story Map that illustrates the suitability of ASR and AR implementation within the state. It highlights the Hydrogeological, Excess Water, and Water Supply Screens done to determine a final suitability score. The "Survey Scope and Conclusions" tab provides greater clarity on the data's meaning. The report is available to download as a pdf as well.
