Texas Water Development Board- Raising Your Water IQ: A Water Conservation Curriculum

This curriculum for students Grades 6-8 to increase water stewardship and enhance water conservation practices. The goals of the curriculum are to: • enhance a student’s ability to make sound environmental decisions based on an understanding of science; • foster student awareness of the need for water conservation; • help students discover and practice water conservation strategies; • increase a sense of stewardship for local water resources; and • establish patterns of responsible water consumption. The curriculum includes access to digital maps, and a teacher's guide. Activities are customizable to fit each classroom's specific needs.
