Purpose:
Watershed Protection Plans (WPP) are useful to water quality planning because they contain management measures to reduce pollutants and public education and outreach programs that were developed with stakeholder input. These measures and outreach programs may be useful ideas to others.
Description:
This WPP defines a strategy and identifies opportunities for widespread participation of stakeholders to work together, and as individuals, to implement practices and programs that restore and protect water quality in the Eagle Mountain Lake Watershed. As these measures are put into place and water quality changes over time, adaptive management will be implemented to continue progress toward water quality goals.
