Properly planning and implementing operational maintenance protocols and policies is a great, cost-effective way to improve energy efficiency and conservation. This webinar dove into how local governments, schools/colleges, and building/campus energy managers can utilize operational maintenance protocols and policies to improve energy savings, reach energy goals, and extend the life of equipment. The Building Operator Certification (BOC) program offered by SPEER and energy benchmarking tools available through USGBC were highlighted. Resources from the State Energy Conservation Office, such as preliminary energy assessments (PEAs), were also covered.
